1. Visa là gì?
Visa, hay còn gọi là thị thực nhập cảnh, là một loại giấy tờ do cơ quan có thẩm quyền của một quốc gia (thường là lãnh sự quán) cấp nhằm xác nhận người được cấp có quyền nhập cảnh vào quốc gia đó. Thời gian lưu trú của visa tùy thuộc vào việc visa đó cho phép nhập cảnh một lần hay nhiều lần.
Không phải quốc gia nào cũng yêu cầu visa khi nhập cảnh. Một số quốc gia, như các nước trong khu vực Đông Nam Á và một số nước đặc biệt khác, đã miễn trừ visa. Vì vậy, người nước ngoài muốn nhập cảnh vào Việt Nam cần có visa và các giấy tờ theo quy định, trừ các trường hợp được miễn visa.
2. Các loại visa hiện nay gồm những loại nào?
Visa được chia thành hai nhóm chính:
Visa di dân: Dành cho những trường hợp nhập cảnh để định cư tại quốc gia khác theo diện bảo lãnh của cha mẹ, vợ hoặc chồng.
Visa không di dân: Dành cho các mục đích nhập cảnh ngắn hạn như du lịch, công tác, kinh doanh, học tập… trong thời gian nhất định theo quy định.
Visa du lịch là loại thị thực cho phép người nước ngoài vào một quốc gia để tham quan, du lịch với thời gian lưu trú tối đa 30 ngày cho mỗi lần nhập cảnh và có thể được xem xét gia hạn.

3. Hồ sơ thủ tục xin visa du lịch 2025?

Khi đi du lịch Thụy Điển – bạn cần xin Visa Schengen. Hồ sơ xin visa được nộp tại Đại sứ quán Thụy Điển tại Hà Nội, địa chỉ: Tầng 15, tòa nhà Deaha, 360 Kim Mã, Ba Đình.
Căn cứ theo Luật Xuất cảnh, Nhập cảnh của công dân Việt Nam năm 2019 (sửa đổi bổ sung năm 2023), bạn cần chuẩn bị hồ sơ đầy đủ theo quy định pháp luật.
Hồ sơ bao gồm:
Đơn xin thị thực Schengen điền đầy đủ bằng tiếng Anh hoặc Thụy Điển và ký tên hợp lệ.
Hộ chiếu còn hiệu lực ít nhất ba tháng sau ngày kết thúc chuyến đi (kèm hộ chiếu cũ nếu có).
1 ảnh thẻ 3.5×4.5 cm, nền sáng, chụp trong vòng 6 tháng.
Bản sao công chứng sổ hộ khẩu.
Giấy khai sinh (dịch sang tiếng Anh và hợp pháp hóa lãnh sự).
Giấy đăng ký kết hôn hoặc bản án ly hôn (nếu có).
Sơ yếu lý lịch có xác nhận của địa phương.
Bản sao công chứng hợp đồng lao động (hoặc quyết định bổ nhiệm/văn bản tương đương), bảng lương ba tháng gần nhất và đơn xin nghỉ phép.
Chứng minh tài chính: sao kê ngân hàng ba tháng gần nhất, sổ tiết kiệm, thẻ tín dụng, chứng minh thu nhập khác (cho thuê nhà đất, cổ phiếu…).
Bằng chứng sở hữu tài sản nếu có (nhà đất, ô tô…).
Giấy chứng nhận bảo hiểm còn thời hạn.
Xác nhận đặt vé máy bay (không quá 90 ngày trước ngày nhập cảnh).
Nếu có người bảo lãnh tài chính: cung cấp giấy tờ chứng minh năng lực tài chính của người bảo lãnh, bản sao hộ chiếu và tài liệu chứng minh mối quan hệ với người bảo lãnh.
Thư mời bản gốc: theo mẫu, có đầy đủ thông tin và chữ ký người mời.
Bản sao hộ chiếu/thẻ công dân của người mời. Nếu người mời không có quốc tịch Thụy Điển, cần kèm bản sao giấy phép cư trú.
Bản trích lục dân số (Personbevis) của người mời.
Nếu người mời chi trả chi phí chuyến đi: sao kê tài khoản, bằng chứng thu nhập và nộp thuế trong ba tháng gần nhất.
Bằng chứng về mối quan hệ giữa hai bên: nếu là người thân thì nộp giấy khai sinh, giấy đăng ký kết hôn, sổ hộ khẩu; nếu là bạn bè thì cung cấp hình ảnh chụp chung, email, tin nhắn…
Lưu ý:
Tất cả giấy tờ phải được dịch sang tiếng Anh.
Trong thư mời, bạn cần ghi rõ nơi cư trú của người mời tại tỉnh XX (Thụy Điển).
Bạn cần nộp bảng lương ba tháng gần nhất do công ty xác nhận và có thể bổ sung xác nhận đóng BHXH từ cơ quan bảo hiểm.

3. What are the required documents and procedures for applying for a tourist visa in 2025?
Visa application procedures vary depending on the destination country or territory.
Example:
To travel to Sweden, you need to apply for a Schengen Visa. The visa application should be submitted at the Embassy of Sweden in Hanoi, located on the 15th floor of the Deaha Building, 360 Kim Ma, Ba Dinh District.
According to the Law on Exit and Entry of Vietnamese Citizens (2019, amended in 2023), applicants must prepare a complete visa application file in compliance with legal requirements.
Required documents include:
A completed and duly signed Schengen visa application form (in English or Swedish).
A passport valid for at least three months after the end of the trip (including old/expired passports if available).
One passport-sized photo (3.5×4.5 cm) with a bright background, taken within the last 6 months.
A notarized copy of the household registration book.
Birth certificate (translated into English and legalized).

A certified personal background declaration from the local authorities.
